Jon Edwards is responsible for developing the London Stock Exchange's business in Russia and the CIS. Mr. Edwards has been working to promote both Main Market and AIM to Russian and CIS companies and advisors. more

One aspect of his work is facilitating communication between the City investment community and the CIS countries. Mr. Edwards is a frequent traveller to Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine and has also organized conferences in London to promote CIS companies to the investor community in the UK.

Mr. Edwards studied at Columbia University where he received his BA degree in Russian studies and joint JD/MBA degree in business and law. He joined the London Stock Exchange in August 2003, before which he worked on private equity transactions for Incepta Ventures UK Limited, Delta Capital and BNP-Invest. Mr. Edwards has more than ten years of experience working with CIS companies in the natural resources, consumer products, real estate and TMT sectors.

Dan was based in London with Standard & Poor's until 2005, when he relocated to the firm's head office in New York Prior to joining Standard and Poor's in 2001, Dan spent over five years as a senior analyst at a leading corporate governance consultancy in Washington, D.C., providing corporate governance advice to pension and mutual funds investing in international equities.

In London and Hong Kong from 1994 to 1999 he was responsible for equity and equity-linked transactions in both the emerging markets and in developed Europe.

He has deep and practical experience of main board listings of overseas companies on the London market, ranging from Billiton in 1997 to ENRC in late 2007. Peter started his career at KPMG where he gained experience in audit and transactions services. Post qualification, he was seconded to the London Stock Exchange regulatory team for two years before joining the capital markets team at Robert Fleming which later became part of JP Morgan Cazenove. Martin Graham joined the London Stock Exchange in May 2003 as Director of Markets, managing all the market facing functions within the Exchange, including the development of all domestic and international markets business. more

Between 2003 and 2007 his business generated over 70% revenue growth on a flat cost base and accounted for 75% of the Exchange's profits, as well as helping the London market to achieve a dominant position in the international IPO market. AIM was also transformed into the world's leading market for high growth companies with an unprecedented global profile. During 2007 Martin led negotiations with the Tokyo Stock Exchange to form a joint venture to create a new equity growth market in Japan.

In January 2008, following the merger with Borsa Italiana, Martin was appointed head of the combined Groups' equity business. Martin has direct responsibility for all the Group's equity client relationships, market operations and regulation, product management and development, equity markets strategy, AIM and RNS, the Exchange's regulatory news service.

In 2005, Mr Spinks co-founded Landkom International (then called Landkom Ukraine), a company set up to become a major producer of highly demanded agricultural feedstocks including rapeseed for the biodiesel industry, wheat for food industries and with an option of planting barley for brewing and food industries. Mr Spinks has been responsible for establishing strong relationships with the heads of regional Ukrainian governments, which has been the key to the Company being allowed to lease land from individuals and government agencies in order to build a substantial land bank.

Prior to founding Landkom International, Mr Spinks worked on a number of significant contracts with government agencies in Ukraine and Poland on behalf of high level US individuals and companies.

Between 2001 and 2004, Mr Spinks was eastern European Operations Director at British Seafood Group, a company that has a turnover of more than £600 m. Mr Spinks was responsible for relationship building, sourcing, negotiating and contracting for high volume deliveries of frozen fish food products from factories in Poland, the Baltic States, Russia and Ukraine.

Between 1994—2004, Mr Spinks held a number of positions in the new media industry, including founding and spearheading the growth of Vavo.com, a start up community web portal aimed at the over 45 age group, including a significant e-commerce component (1999—2001), and as Director of Business Development at Lycos Bertelsmann GmbH, supporting the CEO and CO in the acquisition of e-commerce business, strategic alliances and high volume/high value advertising and consumer acquisition contracts (1997 — 1999).

From 1989 to 1994, Mr Spinks was active in a number of roles, developing niche publication titles and projects in developing countries in the Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe. During this period, Mr Spinks also provided consultancy services to a number of major publishing houses, providing advice on the recovery of published titles that had declining sales and motivating/re-training sales teams.
