David Lewis was born and brought up in the Far East and educated at the Dragon School and St Edward's School in Oxford. He then studied law at Jesus College Oxford, where he is now an Honorary Fellow. He joined the City of London law firm, Norton Rose, in 1969 to study for his solicitors articles and has worked for them in both London and Hong Kong for 38 years. He was the Senior Partner of this international firm for six years before becoming a consultant in 2003.

Alderman Lewis has spent his career advising on privatisations, IPOs, corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions and generally in the corporate financial services field. He has been involved in many of the largest public company takeovers, both in the UK and across international borders during that time. He has also helped a number of UK and overseas clients including FTSE 100 companies, global financial institutions and governments to access global markets, advising on privatisations and Stock Exchange listings in London and in many overseas jurisdictions.

David Lewis was elected as the Alderman for the Ward of Broad Street in the City of London in 2001 and has since served on several of the committees of the City of London Corporation. He is a keen supporter of the Livery movement. He is Junior Warden of the Solicitors' Company and is also a Liveryman of the Fletchers' Company and of the Welsh Livery Guild.

His voluntary work includes serving as Chairman of the Governors of the Dragon School and as an Almoner/Governor of Christ's Hospital. He is a trustee of many charitable trusts including the Oxford University Law Faculty Trust, the Mansion House Scholarship Scheme, the Lord Mayor's Trust for Charities, and the Norton Rose Charitable Foundation. He is a churchwarden of St Margaret Lothbury and he sits as a City magistrate.

As head of the City of London, the Lord Mayor presides over its governing bodies — the Court of Aldermen and the Court of Common Council. He is Chief Magistrate of the City of London, Admiral of the Port of London, Chancellor of City University and President or Patron of many other civic and charitable organisations. The Lord Mayor is also the ambassador for the UK-based financial services industry which is headquartered in the City, but includes the regional financial centres such as Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds and Manchester. This task necessitates much time overseas in promoting the services and expertise of the City. As part of his ambassadorial role for financial services he also receives visiting Heads of State and Governments on behalf of the British Government and the City. He hosts seminars, conferences and banquets for them, as well as other entertainment for overseas ministers and business leaders.

His Mayoral Charitable Appeal is devoted to «Investing in Healthy Lives, Healthy Vision, Healthy Futures» through Wellbeing of Women (WoW) and ORBIS. WoW funds research that will end the distress of miscarriage, the trauma of pre-term birth and the tragedy of disability — advances made in the past thanks to this research include ultrasound and cervical cancer screening. ORBIS is dedicated to blindness prevention and treatment in developing countries — over the past 25 years more than 450 medical volunteers have given their time and expertise free of charge, more that 26,000 patients have been treated and more than four million patients have benefited from ORBIS training in Africa, China, India and elsewhere.

David Lewis married Theresa Poole in 1970 and they have two married children — a son and a daughter. Theresa Lewis is a Liveryman of the Glaziers' Company. She trained as a teacher and has also taught adult literacy. She is also an amateur potter and an artist. When not in London, Alderman and Mrs Lewis divide their time between their home in Oxford and a farmhouse in Carmarthenshire, where his Welsh forbears have farmed for generations.

Her department is responsible for attracting new international and UK companies to the London markets, including the Main Market and AIM, managing the Exchange's relationships with its 3,000 quoted companies and the corporate advisory community. Tracey is also responsible for the Exchange's regional offices in Hong Kong and Beijing and is a member of the AIM Management Board.

Prior to joining the Exchange, Tracey worked in corporate and commercial banking with HSBC Bank and previously set up and established a number of businesses in the retail sector.

She holds a BA Honours degree in Business Studies and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.

Nellie has been involved in international business projects for more than 15 years. She has a broad experience in multi-jurisdictional financial, corporate and commercial matters including international equity and debt offerings and merges and acquisitions. She joined the Moscow office of the firm in 2000, was promoted to partnership in 2006 and relocated to the firm's London office in January 2008 retaining her responsibilities for development of the firm’s Russian practice in Moscow and St-Petersburg.

Before joining Denton Wilde Sapte Nellie was a Russian capital markets' expert for the European Union program, a legal counsel for Raiffeisen bank and worked in Clifford Chance in Moscow, Almaty and London offices.

Nellie has both the Russian law degree and the post-graduate degree from the Moscow State University and is currently taking a course with the Nottingham Law School to complete her qualification as a UK solicitor.

From 1998 to 2005 Mr White was the Director of the Quadriga Central Russia Regional Venture Fund (RVF), a private equity fund financed by the EBRD and German KfW. The RVF implemented numerous successful investment projects, including Nizhpharm, now part of the Stada Group, Bridgetown Foods, Multiflex packaging and many others. Mr White created the company Marchmont Capital Partners in 2005 and resides in the city of Nizhny Novgorod. Mr. White received his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, at Northwestern University.

He has an extensive experience in advising on the placement of debt securities (Eurobonds, CLN, ABS, project bonds) and equity (shares and GDRs), through sale to strategic investors as well as public placements with listing on the main market of the London Stock Exchange as well as on the LSE's Alternative Investment Market.

Andrei has worked with the majority of underwriters represented in the London market, as well as numerous private equity funds, both acting for them as well as acting for the issuers of securities. Andrei started his work at Norton Rose in September 2007 having worked for over 13 years with major US and UK firms in London, New York and Moscow. In addition to his legal practice, Andrei teaches International Economic Law at Queen Mary, University of London.

He took part in projects with respect to both Russian and European companies, connected with corporate, labor, currency, antimonopoly, intellectual property issues.

Evgeny started his work to Norton Rose in 2007 having worked with leading Russian consulting companies with the specialization in the areas of corporate finance and M&A transactions. In addition to his legal practice, Evgeny teaches European Law at MGIMO University in Moscow.

Alexander Lupachev holds position of Investment Director at Penta Investments in Moscow. He is focused on investments in telecoms, consumer goods and financial services. Previously Alexander held senior positions at Delta Private Equity and Access Industries.

He has deep and practical experience of main board listings of overseas companies on the London market, ranging from Billiton in 1997 to ENRC in late 2007. He has also worked on a range of substantial GDR offerings, including Rosneft and KazMunaiGas Exploration & Production in 2006 and LSR in 2007.

Peter started his career at KPMG where he gained experience in audit and transactions services. Post qualification, he was seconded to the London Stock Exchange regulatory team for two years before joining the capital markets team at Robert Fleming which later became part of JP Morgan Cazenove. He joined Rothschild in 2000 and was Joint Head of Execution for the ABN AMRO Rothschild joint venture, where he managed and was responsible for the execution of various high profile ECM transactions. He is now applying this wide range of experience to equity advisory services with a focus upon preparing companies for IPOs.

In 2003 was awarded ACCA Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards and Auditing, since 2004 has ACCA Certificate in International Auditing. In 2004 was awarded Tutor Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards by Institute of Professional Auditors of Russia (IPAR).

From 2004 to 2007 — Head of International Projects Department. Since 2007 — International Audit Director of «Baker Tilly Russaudit», Ltd. Holds corporate seminars, makes reports at international conferences. Speaks English and German fluently.

He is also experienced in public and private mergers and acquisitions. Selected experience includes advising UniCredit CAIB UK Ltd and Morgan Stanley as Joint Global Coordinators of the listing on the Official List of GDRs in Acron; Rambler Media Limited on its admission to AIM; Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas in connection with the Official Listings by AFK Sistema, OAO Novatek and other companies; Renaissance Capital on the public offering of shares in Switzerland and a private placement of shares in other countries, including the U.K., by Eastern Property Holdings Limited, the Russian real estate company; Kiln Ltd on its listing on the Official List and Tawa plc, Lancashire Holdings Limited and Omega Insurance Holdings Limited on their respective admissions to AIM. Mr Lewis is recognised as a leader in Corporate and M&A in Legal Business’ Legal Experts and as a leader in his field in Chambers.

His current client portfolio is drawn largely from the natural resources (including FTSE 100 Antofagasta PLC, the Chilean based copper miner), speciality financeand real estate sectors, both on the full market and AIM. Last year his team supported six AIM IPOs for clients with assets in such diverse geographical locations and the US, China, Australia, Mongolia and Spain. Many of his clients are listed overseas from the United Kingdom.

He joined WH Ireland in June 1995 and is Managing Director of WH Ireland Group plc.

In addition to his position as Managing Director of WH Ireland Group plc, David is also Deputy Chief Executive of its stockbroking subsidiary WH Ireland Ltd. and, as head of the Corporate Finance department, has specific responsibility for the firm's corporate finance business. He sits on the Group's AIM and New Issues Suitability committee which reviews potential corporate clients prior to WH Ireland agreeing to act for them in any corporate or fund raising activity.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Elshin has organized the first issues of public-debt instruments for dozens of well-known Russian companies such as Baltimor, Alrosa, PIK, OGO, Razguliay, Inkom-Avto and others. In 2006, Mr. Elshin managed a strategic consulting group from Oxford University on the London Stock Exchange. Currently, Mr. Elshin heads the Russian AIM project and prepares Russian companies for IPO on the AIM.

Mr. Elshin graduated from the Moscow-based Mendeelev Chemical-Technological Institute and holds degrees from Moscow State Law Academy, Stockholm School of Economics and Oxford University (MBA).

Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Mr. Denny worked for several years in New York in the venture sector. Mr. Denny holds a B.A. from University College London and earned his MBA at London Business School.
